The family-owned company started in 1967 and is now run in third genereation.

Kuhmo and specifically Lentiira area is well known for vast wilderness and wildlife watching opportunities. In addition to bear watching in the hide, you could join elk scouting safari or traditional hunting tour with local guides. In winter you might find tracks of fox, hare, forest reindeer and wolverine during your snowshoe trek in the woods.

In addition to auroras, the landscape in Lentiira is absolutely photoscenic especially in late summer nights and pale winter months. Regarding wildlife photogprahy, there are opportunities to photograph various species including bears, birdlife, wolverine, elk and wild reindeer depending on the season.
